My reflection

I do agree with what the article said, time is always a big problem when language teachers need to suggest students doing a project. other than that, the availability of computers is also an issue. We should not assume that students must have a computer at home. This is not really the case, so if we want to ask our students to do a project, we should make sure the project does not just foucs on using IT, other elements are vital as well. Of course, students can still access computers outside school if they need to, but it is really difficult if they want to do so during holidays. In order to solve it, a group project is an effective way, but for sure, we have to monitor everything well before we ask our students to do so.

To me planning is important, we must try to go through all the points and details of the project carefully to see if there will ne potential difficulties. Also we need to decide whether the project is managable to our students. Sometimes, teachers are glad that there is a lot of information for the particular area for our students' projects. However, it may also attract them to copy and paste the information as their own work. It is really hard for us to handle.
